Wealth Net was happy to learn that for the past five years, 81 cents of every dollar that has been donated to St. Jude has gone to support research and treatment at St. Jude.

St. Jude’s mission is to discover cures for childhood cancers and other diseases through research and treatment.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was founded in 1962 and is funded primarily by donations raised by ALSAC, its national fundraising organization. The hospital sees about 5,700 patients per year, from both the United States and around the world.
